50% of the works were created for Swiss Expo Zurich 2020 from August 20, 2020 to August 24, 2020 by ARTHENA MAXX, whereby 7 different Dyptichons were selected.

The works were created in 2016, 2019 and especially 2020 for the international ART FAIR SWISS EXPO in Zurich. The “AML-DIPTYCHON SPECIAL” cycle was exhibited at ARTBOX.PROJECT SWISS EXPO 2.0 in 2020 under the management of ART BOX.

The works were created for ARTBOX.PROJECT BARCELONA 1.0 under the management of ART BOX Zurichin 2020.
Due to the worldwide COVID 19 pandemic, the exhibition was held exclusively in digital form.

The paintings “AML 4 Barcelona” and “Barcelona 4 AML” are a greeting of the artist ARTHENA MAXX from her hometown Bärnbach (Styria/Austria) to the art metropolis Barcelona. The work is a mix of different materials and painting techniques. This mix creates a lively illustration in which the viewer alternates between a sense of home, of longing and wanderlust.

The works were created in 2019 for the international ART FAIR in MIAMI. The cycle “ART to SPORT“ was exhibited at the ARTBOX.PROJECT MIAMI 2.0 in 2019 under the management of ART BOX.

The exhibition ART FAIR in MIAMI – cycle “ART to SPORT” showed five paintings from the cycle “ART to SPORT” and five photographs from the cycle “ARTMODEL 2019” from the expressive creative phases of the artist ARTHENA MAXX. The paintings were supplemented by special pieces in the form of art clothes, which are equally sculptures, paintings and show parts. The cycle made it onto the front page of the Spanish daily newspaper NEWSFOX as story and picture of the day.

The works were created in 2015 and 2016 for ART SACRAL, a charity exhibition for the renovation of the gold dome of the Church of St. Barbara, which was designed by the artist Friedrich Hundertwasser in 1986. The works were presented to Joram Harel and personally released for the exhibition. The artist ARTHENA MAXX donated the proceeds from the charity exhibition in full to the Church of St. Barbara and was thus one of the four investors who made the renovation of the Gold Dome possible in 2016. After the charity exhibition – in the course of the refugee crisis – the arist ARTHENA MAXX was increasingly critized for her Protestant faith. She and her works were rejected. The artist dealt with this experience in the painting “Foreign Energy“.

The works were created in 2018 for DRESS TO ART under the management of ART OF LIFE CLUB Vienna. The exhibition took place in the ART OF LIFE CLUB Vienna, a platform for artists and art lovers. In the context of the exhibition DRESS TO ART paintings of the cycles “Red Roses” as well as “Black Menuewere shown. The paintings were complemented by special pieces in the form of art dresses, which are equally sculptures and show pieces.

The works were created in 2017 for the curated art fair “PARALLELKUNST”. In 2017 the art space is presented in the Ringstrasse Gallery.

In the curated art fair “PARALLELKUNST” 2017, the art space in the Ringstrasse Gallery presents 10 international artists, including “ARTHENA MAXX”. ARTHENA MAXX designed its own cycle for this exhibition. Extracts from essential works from this creative phase are included in this cycle. ZYKLUS BLUE EYES emerged from two vehement life events of the artist, on the one hand the intensive flow of refugees and religious migration from Arab countries to Europe and from the entrepreneurial experience with the international BLUE Grace Holding and associated companies worldwide, and thus triggered dialogues and controversy.
All paintings were painted on paper, wood or denim, which was stretched on a stretcher with gold leaf, silver leaf or copper leaf.

In the exhibition “EYES” in Bärnbach, ARTHENA MAXX “presents numerous works by her AUGE for the first time in her home country. ARTHENA MAXX designed its own cycle for this exhibition. Extracts from essential works from this creative phase are included in this cycle.

The works were created on the one hand for the CYCLE BLUE EYES DIALOGUE & CONTROVERSE, which was shown in 2017 in the curated exhibition “PARALLELKUNST” at Kunstraum Ringstraßen Galerie in Vienna under the management of Mag. H. Thurnhofer; on the other hand for the CYCLE ART to SPORT, which was exhibited in the ART MIAMI 2019, the largest art fair in the world.

In both exhibitions, paintings were exhibited and complemented by special pieces in the form of art clothes, which are both sculptures and show pieces.

In the exhibition “WATER WORLDS” paintings from the cycle “WATER WORLDS” were shown, from different creative phases of the artist ARTHENA MAXX. The paintings are supplemented by special pieces in the form of artificial clothing, which represent sculptures, paintings and show parts alike.

In the exhibition “SPURENSUCHE DES FEMINISMUS”, the anniversary of 100 years of voting rights for women is commemorated and paintings from the cycle “FEMINISM” are shown, from a specific creative phase of the artist ARTHENA MAXX. ARTHENA MAXX is a child of FEMINISM and also stands by it and won this tender.
